About Tapestry
Tapestry is Temasek Polytechnic’s annual student-driven arts festival, launched in 2022 by the Temasek Arts Centre (TAC) as a platform for students to curate, produce, and present their own arts experiences. Evolving from its early editions MOVE and MELODY to large-scale showcases like Our Canvas and Metamorphosis, Tapestry has grown into a multi-arts celebration of creativity, collaboration, and community. The 2025 edition, Flux, reflects continual transformation—embracing change, exploring new horizons, and fostering authentic expression. This year also marks a new step in social impact, as Tapestry partners with the Temasek Polytechnic's Community Service Club to raise funds for building a school in Cambodia, demonstrating how the arts can inspire both personal growth and collective good.
Our theme this year: FLUX
"Line"
Each line represents an arts group’s distinct identity within a shared canvas. As lines move and intersect, they reflect moments of collaboration, where different styles and perspectives meet to create blended expressions. The canvas evolves with each interaction, symbolising unity and exploration in a dynamic creative space.
"Field"
The field highlights the collaborative spirit among TP’s arts groups, serving as the ground where creative lines intersect. Through workshops, performances, and co-created experiences, students engage in cross-disciplinary collaboration and collective storytelling. By weaving together diverse artistic expressions, they build not only their own narratives but also shared ones that reflect the interconnected nature of growth and community.
"Flux"
Flux embodies the energy and transformation that occur when creative paths converge. Culminating in a Festival Evening that unites all groups, it captures the constant change sparked by collaboration—where movement, ideas, and stories overlap and evolve. It is both a celebration of individuality and a collective expression of transition, embodying the spirit of Tapestry.

Tapestry, as its name suggests, celebrates the artistry of connection — where every student, staff member, and creative mind becomes a vital thread in an ever-evolving work. Each contribution, no matter how small, adds depth and colour to the whole. This year, I am deeply proud of the passion, resilience, and imagination that have brought this festival to life. As you experience Tapestry, I hope you too will feel that quiet spark of belonging — that you, in your own way, had something to do with flux.

Tapestry is a festival within Temasek Polytechnic that unites the school’s diverse arts clubs in a month of performances, workshops, and collaborations — a celebration of creativity in motion.
This year’s theme, Flux, reflects the beauty of constant change — where Lines representing individuals meet within a shared Field. In this ever-shifting space, collaboration becomes the current that carries us forward, reminding us that art, like life, is always evolving.
I’m deeply grateful to direct this year’s Tapestry alongside our dedicated advisors and students. May this festival offer a glimpse into the vibrant community of creators who continue to move, adapt, and flourish — ever in a state of Flux.
